Mooresville Spinners Marketing Interns -2019

Requirements – Seeking Internship for college credit, dependable transportation, smart phone with data plan, live in Mooresville / N. Charlotte Area, able to lift 40lbs and work in varying weather conditions including hot and humid conditions.  All members must work as part of Spinners team.

 

Marketing Administrator

Duties to include but not limited to: Season preplanning, prepare, marketing brochures, schedules, tickets, posters and flyers.  Maintain marketing database and contacts, B2B correspondence, fundraising, attend community business events. Basic accounting and budget tasks associated with amateur sports program. Assist in development and execution of Spinners marketing plan. Supervised by General Manager

January  to May, (additional summer position possible) 8-10 hours weekly;  can run in conjunction with spring semester.  

Position is unpaid but will have financial incentives for task completion on deadline.

Summer position - Marketing Operations Intern or Assistant 

 

Marketing Operation/ Entertainment/General Management

Duties to include but not limited to: Game day operations – supervision of volunteers, oversee concessions and facility maintenance, fan comfort and entertainment.  Represent Spinners as on- field personality.  Assist GM with issues relative to player support.  Manage visiting team hospitality.  Travel and be with team at all events. Assist with development and execution of Spinner Business Plan of Action. Maintain and cultivate social media presence.  Under supervision of General Manager.

Position is unpaid but will have commissions and bonus relative to business plan goal obtainment.

 

Sales Representative

Duties to include but not limited to: Season ticket sales, advertising and corporate sponsors, and game day sponsors.  Spinners will provide premiums and plans available to assist in closing customers.  Required to work corporate games sold and assist in game night activities. Collect business giveaway support.  Assist in development and execution of Sales Plan of Action (POA).  Mentorship and sales coaching and supervision provided by Director of Marketing. 

April – Aug 2 

Commissions and Bonus provided relative to gate net sales and ticket and advertising pre-sales.

 

Mooresville Spinners Communications / Business Interns -2015

Requirements – Seeking Internship for college credit, dependable transportation, smart phone with data plan, live in Mooresville / N. Charlotte Area, able to lift 40lbs and work in varying weather conditions including hot and humid conditions.  All members must work as part of Spinners team.

 

Press-box Announcer

Duties to include but not limited to: Game day environment to include music and player announcements.  Sound system provided but announcer must have music and interface device to control. Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the press box for the season.

Small Stipend, May – Aug 2, Supervised by Marketing Director

Schedule is one hour prior to each home game as scheduled until 30 minutes post game completion.  

Radio Play by Play

Duties to include set up of on-line radio experience, game day play by play and build an on-line / radio experience “Spin Zone”.  Travel with team for remote away game broadcasts.  Prepared to work with Press-box announcer, manage official stats program.

Supervised by Marketing Director May – Aug 2 Commissions on any radio advertising sold.

 

Beer Garden Manager

Duties to include but not limited to: Inventory, legal requirements, security and police scheduling as required.  Maintain beer garden in clean, orderly manner in conjunction with all requirements agreed with local authorities and within requirements of license.  Maintain all Spinner cash and cash payments as needed on game day and provide accounting post game to GM.

April – Aug 2 Unpaid – Tips Only - Supervised by General Manager

 

Fun Zone Manager

Duties to include but not limited to: Maintain fun zone in clean, safe and organized manner.  At all times assure safety of children in zone.  Manage one time and day pass sales.  Set up and take down as required each game day to assure safe and well maintained zone.

May – Aug 2, Commission on sales each game.  Supervised by GM Intern
